Colors of the Year 2023

2023 is on its way, which means it is time to celebrate new and upcoming design trends! Every year we see companies, such as Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore, share their take on what colors they believe will be showcased in the upcoming year. We usually see these trending colors relating to current events. For example, in 2021 and 2022, the selected colors were more muted and calming. These were chosen after many people began staying home more often due to COVID-19. These colors represented the peace that people were searching for in their own space. Now for 2023, we are seeing a more lively environment emerging. People are finally getting back to their normal lives. People are also experimenting with their creativity. Some are wanting to explore the pink trend that has returned from the 1950s.

Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore have explored this re-emerged trend in two different ways. Benjamin Moore’s choice exudes confidence and positivity, while Sherwin-Williams’s choice brings comfort and connection to a space. Let’s take a look at these two incredible colors and see how they can be incorporated into your space.
